聚(L-丙交酯)一種(zhǒng)具有強旋光性和良好(hǎo)力學(xué)性能(néng)的半晶聚合物。它主要用于合成(chéng)可降解聚合物，用于矯形裝置、牙科應用，作爲自體移植的新皮膚、傷口覆蓋物、吻合系統和支架的支架。它們是可生物降解的，因爲聚酯骨架通過(guò)簡單水解降解，形成(chéng)無毒化合物。
PLLA的用處很多，主要用于外科手術縫合線、牙科、眼科、藥用控釋系統、人造皮膚、人造血管、骨和軟組織缺損部分填充劑、生物可吸收支架等醫藥學(xué)領域。

Poly (L-lactide) is a semi crystalline polymer with strong optical rotation and good mechanical properties. It is mainly used to synthesize degradable polymers for orthopedic devices, dental applications, and as a scaffold for autologous transplantation of new skin, wound covers, anastomotic systems and stents. They are biodegradable because the polyester skeleton is degraded by simple hydrolysis to form non-toxic compounds.

PLLA has many uses. It is mainly used in surgical sutures, dentistry, ophthalmology, pharmaceutical controlled-release systems, artificial skin, artificial blood vessels, partial fillers for bone and soft tissue defects, bioabsorbable stents and other medical fields.
